EcoLogix, Maryland Environmental Community Loses Close Friend and "Irreplaceable" Colleague

Annapolis, MD (July 7, 2007) - It is with great sadness that we relay the information that the Maryland environmental community has lost a close colleague, staunch advocate, and veteran environmental ally in Mary Marsh. Mrs. Marsh passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2007. Mary had spent the last two years working with EcoLogix Group on a variety of our sustainability efforts with a particular focus on alternative energy-related issues. Mary’s tireless effort to protect Maryland’s environment and sustain its communities, her depth of knowledge, political acumen and insight, her understanding of when and how to rise above polarizing efforts of others, and, most of all, her unwavering smile; all of these will be greatly missed here among the EcoLogix team members and those with whom we work.

In attending the services, we all heard the recurring theme that Mary is "irreplaceable." Each of us has worked with Mary over the years through her service with the Maryland Conservation Council, Sierra Club, and with EcoLogix, and couldn’t agree more. We've all been touched by her kindness, inspired by her unwavering fortitude and, to a person, each of us recognizes that we've greatly benefited from the opportunity to work side-by-side with her. The out-pouring of sadness and sympathy for her family from all sectors is testament to the extent to which her efforts touched lives. She will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family in these difficult times.

With Deepest Sympathies,

The EcoLogix Group Team
