EcoLogix Group Chosen by the Association of National Estuary Programs to Present at the Spring 2004 NEP/EPA National Meeting in Washington, DC

Annapolis, MD (February 2, 2004) - EcoLogix Group, a professional services company focused on sustainability planning and creating economic, environmental and social value, has been selected by the Association of National Estuary Programs to present an overview of the innovative Builders for the Coastal Bays Program as part of the Spring 2004 NEP/EPA National Meeting in Washington, DC on March 10th, 2004 at the Hilton Washington Embassy Row. The Association of National Estuary Programs (ANEP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible stewardship and a common vision for the preservation and restoration of the United States' bays and estuaries. Established in 1987 by amendments to the Clean Water Act to "identify, restore, and protect nationally significant estuaries of the United States," the National Estuary Program uses local plans and actions to restore estuaries. ANEP works with the 28 National Estuary Programs around the country to coordinate their national agenda, to give support to them and encourage communication between them. The Builders for the Coastal Bays Program is a unique, consensus-building approach designed by EcoLogix Group to improve regional growth patterns. The program brings together a broad array of stakeholders concerned with development to review and assess current codes and ordinances with an eye toward identifying and removing obstacles to environmentally sensitive development practices. EcoLogix is providing full project support for the Builders program.
